Watering: Water your landscape as needed. 1” of precipitation per week
Tree Trimming: This is a great time of year to trim back you trees such as crepe myrtles. Cut out dead limbs, limbs that curve inward, and sucker plants that are forming around the base of the tree. Cut at the crease, where the limbs fork out. Don’t cut all the way back to the trunk as new growth will tend to be leggy and weak. This will also affect the quality of their blooms.
Raise Canopy: Cut lower branches of tree to allow more sunlight to your turf grass. All turf types need sunlight to thrive. This also makes it easier when mowing under your trees.
Turf & Landscape Pest and Diseases:
