As soon as Patricia decided to stop complaining about having to build a Web design business, I knew that she
was committed to Leadership and leading her wealth. In order to succeed, Patricia needed to maintain her lifestyle
and commit to her Cash Machine. This would mean Conditioning herself to take control of her relationship to
money. She would also make this shift in mindset easier for her daughter by including her in the business. Patricia
would then need Teamwork to build a strong team to reach her Asset and Cash Machine goals. Clearly
communicating her vision and sharing her passion with others would get them on board.

A Virtual MBA, Only Better

When Patricia was ready to venture beyond her Web design company to establish the summer camp, it was as if she
had an MBA’s worth of life experience. Patricia was miles ahead of where she’d been when she first wanted to
pursue this option, and as a result, she was more efficient and effective in realizing her vision. Though the company
was in essence a nonprofit, Patricia structured it as a true business, drawing up a polished and presentable business
directive to secure educational grants and personal contributions, creating high-quality marketing materials to attract
campers and support fundraising efforts, selecting an advisory board, and hiring first-rate staff. Only recently a
project manager making $45,000 a year, Patricia began to live in a world where she was doing what she wanted to
do, resources were plentiful, her leadership was recognized and admired, and her vision had become reality.
