More than 100 parents and caregivers attended Parent Day on Saturday, where NAGC and CAGT hosted various special
sessions for parents, grandparents, and caregivers. Left to right, a student panel shared their insights and took questions
from the audience on their experiences in being gifted and talented. Dr. Edward Amend, Ph.D., offered his wisdom on
strategies for meeting social-emotional needs. Parent lunchtime roundtables, sponsored by the Parent, Family & Commu-
nity Network, provided a venue for lively discussions. Parents gathered over lunch to meet others, share ideas, and gather
resources and tips for supporting their gifted children.
