OVERVIEW
The Society of Consumer Affairs Professionals
(SOCAP) International, a trade organization
representing customer care professionals
across industries, chapters were a subgroup
of the parent association. They operated as a
separate legal entity with filed articles of
incorporation and independent bank
accounts. However, most, if not all, of the
chapters were operating on years-expired
articles of incorporation and unfiled taxes.
The objective was to standardize the SOCAP’s
financial operations across 17 chapters,
implement a unified community-based
structure, and leverage technology to drive
member engagement and increase
membership revenue.
