Implementing an Action Plan
Motivation Mondays
Every Monday a motivational and/or inspirational quote sent in by a member of the WISDM team is sent out via e-mail through WI INFO. It’s a way to start the team off with some positivity and inspiration for the week ahead.
DevelopU
DevelopU is a series of workshops that are facilitated by a live instructor via WebEx, focusing on the competencies, values, skills and How We Work behaviors essential for a successful career at CVS Health. Open to both individual contributors and people managers, courses are designed for all colleagues in professional roles. The Engagement Team shared this resource along with a quarterly calendar to the team, encouraging them to sign up for courses they found useful for their own development.
Quarterly WI Fireside Chat Series
The fireside chat creates a space for intentional discussions on useful and appealing topics, allowing the team to listen to one another, share perspectives and relate to their peers. This series couldn’t have come at a better time. With the pandemic at its height, this platform allowed the team another outlet to virtually stay connected and express themselves.
Daily Team FitOn Workout Sessions
The Engagement Team’s daily 30-minute workout session that began at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic gives team members the opportunity to complete free group workouts focused around health and wellness. This opportunity is open to everyone interested and available.
WI Bingo
David Lee, Workforce Initiatives Director, created an inspirational Bingo board that he shared with the Engagement Team. This game allows team members to send/text their unique Bingo cards to one another daily. The person who collects a consecutive row of Bingo cards is the winner.
Monthly GetAbstract Recommendations
Every month a list of recommended books and podcasts are posted for the WI department to explore on the internal GetAbstract platform. This gets the team comfortable with this platform as a resource that can be used for both personal and professional development.
Business Consulting Solutions Development Tools and Resources Presentation on WI Team Call
At the June 22 WI team meeting, the Engagement Team facilitated the presence of special guest Morgan Dillard (Senior Advisor of Business Consulting Solutions) from the Training and Development team at CVS Health. She presented information about leadership programs, professional development opportunities and resources available to CVS Health colleagues.
