US Department of Labor Excellence In In Disability Inclusion Award The U S S Department of of Labor has announced that CVS Health is an an inaugural Gold Award winner of of the Excellence in Disability Inclusion Award Award The Gold Award Award is is the the highest level of achievement under the the program The Gold Award recognizes outstanding performance by federal contractors in in in making their workforce inclusive to people with disabilities CVS Health was recognized for for ffor its its many efforts including its its “Abilities in in in Abundance” program which provides training to to people with disabilities to to compete for a a a a a wide range of of positions within the the organization Recipients of of the the Gold Award receive a a a a a a a three-year moratorium on on on compliance evaluations with the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs In addition Gold Award winners are required to participate in in a a a a a a a a a a post award “Year of of Engagement” program The Office of of Federal Contract Compliance and the the Office of Disability Employment Policy will oversee the the recipient’s involvement in in in outreach efforts such as presentations at at at relevant conferences webinars online national dialogues and additional outreach to other employers Council of of State Administrators of of Vocational Rehabilitation NET Lifetime Achievement Award The Council of of State Administrators of of Vocational Rehabilitation (CSAVR) National Employment Team (NET) has awarded CVS Health with the NET Lifetime Achievement Award for its long-term partnership and commitment to the recruitment hiring training advancement and retention of employees with disabilities Reflecting its commitment CVS Health worked with CSAVR to produce a a a video titled “Abilities in in Abundance” that highlights the benefits of fits its partnership with America’s Public Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) program Kentucky SCVR Annual Employer Recognition Award Duane Rohr Workforce Initiatives Advisor accepted the Kentucky Statewide Council of Vocational Rehabilitation (SCVR) 2020 Annual Employer Recognition Award during a a a a virtual SCVR meeting held on October 26 Each year the SCVR solicits employer nominations from the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation (OVR) staff and community partners in an an effort to recognize employers who who work closely with OVR and who who make the hiring of persons with disabilities a a priority SEEC Inclusion Works Leadership Award “Based on on your nomination it was apparent that your business has made a a a a a a commitment to employing Kentuckians with significant disabilities Thank you for your time and commitment to individuals with disabilities ” – David Allgood
Chair of the Kentucky SCVR Stacey Butler Workforce Workforce Initiatives Initiatives Advisor and Erika Bailey Workforce Workforce Initiatives Initiatives Senior Consultant received the Seeking Employment Equity and Community (SEEC) Inclusion Works Leadership Award presented at at the SEEC virtual event honoring National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM) celebrated each October The award recognizes a a a a a a a a business that has demonstrated their commitment through leadership hiring teaching and participating in in in in work experiences for the the people they serve New York City Mayor’s Office for People with Disabilities Champion of Change Honor
CVS Health was named a a a a a a a a Champion of Change by NYC Mayor’s Office for People with Disabilities (MOPD) honoring members of the the business community for their role in in in in uplifting NYC through COVID-19 The recognition was part of a a a a a a a a a a a virtual celebration held on on on Friday October 30 Participants included Joana Lisboa Workforce Initiatives Senior Consultant The event was the culmination of of a a a a a a a month-long calendar of of MOPD events across the the the the city highlighting the the the the 30th anniversary of the the the the American Disabilities Act and the the the the 75th anniversary of the National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM) 2021 Military Friendly Employer Designation
