 Getting started:
Conduct a Needs Assessment in order to gather the information
required to customize a program.
Instruments: Questionnaires, Focus Groups, Surveys, Observations or Interviews
Identify the most critical problems that need to be addressed in the area of workforce development, education and health/wellness:
• Who to serve?
• What types of programs, resources and services will be provided?
• How will the program be delivered?
• When to provide programs/services?
• Who will oversee the programs?
• Who are target groups that are being impacted the most and why?
Identify persons who shall be served within the underserved, vulnerable and special needs populations:
• People who have experienced health disparities and minority populations
• People who have limited financial, educational and housing resources
• People who have transportation and mobility problems or who have a need for temporary shelter
• People who have been laid off due to COVID 19
• People who encounter barriers to accessing primary health care services
• People who have physical, mental, emotional or a learning disability
• People who are transitioning from the justice system
• People who may have multiple barriers to employment or who face all types of discrimination
