Alpha Group works with individuals with disabilities to help them gain skills necessary to enter the workforce. The CVS mock store at their location in Delaware, OH assists the participants gain skills that will help them in a retail setting, such as merchandising, customer service and register training.
Fairfield County Board of Disabilities Discover U – Lancaster, OH
The Fairfield County Board of Disabilities Discover U location in Lancaster, OH hosts a CVS Health Workforce Initiatives mock store. The mock store provides retail sales training for Fairfield County individuals with disabilities. The program prepares participants for employment through customer service, cash register and merchandising instruction and hands-on training. Upon completion of the program, students are eligible to apply for employment with CVS Health.

Services To Enhance Potential (STEP) Thrift Store and Donation Center Dearborn Heights, MI
A mock store housed in the training room facility of Services To Enhance Potential (STEP) Thrift Store and Donation Center located in Dearborn Heights, MI celebrated a ribbon-cutting opening in February 2020. CVS Workforce Initiatives classes, offered at the mock store, provide front store training for people with disabilities from the Wayne County, MI area. Participants follow an 80-hour program extending over two days per week for five weeks that includes classroom instruction and on-the-job work experience in the Thrift Store and area CVS pharmacies. Michigan Rehabilitative Services has joined the partnership providing a stipend support
for program students. Upon successful completion of training, all candidates are eligible to apply for a job with CVS Health.
