1. 您在哪年做的会长？期间最大的挑战/成绩是什么？在哪里开的年
会？

President: 2014-2015；challenge: jump over the bar, which
previous president set up achievement: revised the bylaws;
established sub-committees; created the editorial board in March
and CASA Bulletin 1st edition in April ，2014；CASA Annual
meeting: New Orleans

2. 您认为几十年来麻醉最大的改变/进步是什么？您对未来的预期/
发展

Progress: video laryngoscopy; future: Anesthesia monitoring and drug calculation via AI

3. 如果没有做麻醉，或者重新选择，这辈子您会做什么？

Would join in the military if not in medicine

4. 现在的 hobby, 愿意分享的照片，疫情后打算去哪里旅
游？

Hobby: basketball, skiing and reading; Travel: Tai
Mountain in Shandong, China and Alaska

5. 遇到过最有意思的病例

Too many, in short, one was a patient diagnosed with
left atrial tumor, which I found it out it was variant
Coumadin ridge in left atrium via TEE. Saved an open-
heart surgery.

6. 您曾去过中国医院访问或教学，认为两国麻醉最大的区
别是什么？

I visited many places in China. Universal training in USA, but not in China

7. 回首往事，您所做的最得意的事，最想让人记住的是什么？给年轻人的寄语是什么？

Saved a few patient’s lives in the rare circumstances;
For the youth: Set goal in the highest level, you might achieve in the mid one; set it in the
middle, you might get the inferior one.
