Those who are focused on their feeling function tend to be people- oriented, and more aware of other people’s feelings.
The Meyers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) assesses the degree to which one uses these specific functions in their daily activity. It generally casts people as having a combination of two primary views of the world: Introvert and Extrovert.

The third letter than describes your primary processing function Thinking (T) or Feeling (F).
Finally, the fourth letter describes whether you (J)udge or do you (P)erceive. This indicator was added by the Myers-Briggs people who developed the type indicator.
For example, a person with an ISTJ profile would tend to be an Introvert who receives input primarily from their Senses and processes information through Thinking and tends to Judge.
This does not mean this is the only way such a person receives and processes input, but it is the usual and predominant way.
