Intuition, as a source of information, spans a range from a quick hunch all the way to mental telepathy and well-developed psychic experiences.
Future Intuition inputs seem to provide awareness primarily in one or more of many forms depending on the person and other factors:
Clairvoyance: Although generally applied to psychic ability, lots of people receive their intuitive information by seeing a picture in their head.
Dreams also convey pictures from our intuition. An understanding of the picture can come later. The first task is to be open to seeing the picture – to receiving the intuitive input.
Clairsentience: This term goes to the intuitive feeling one might have in relationship to any number of interactions. The feeling might be visceral or simply a positive or negative emotion that arises. Again the task is not to analyze, but rather to tune into the information.
Clairaudience: We hear words or sounds in our head. We might even hear a voice from the outside. We experience the information audibly.
Thought: Most of the people I interviewed describe their intuition in the above three terms. My personal primary input is usually in the form of a quick thought – a simple “yes” or “no” response, for example.
Feeling: Some people simply have a feeling that may be clairsentience or just a feeling of heaviness or lightness. Sometimes this can be physical or simply a feeling or emotion with no physical experience.
Here the relative heaviness (don’t act) or lightness (act) you feel will give you an indication as to whether to take action or not.
The first three ways of receiving intuition are very similar to the learning styles of people: visual, kinesthetic and auditory.
What does a strong intuitive input feel like?
I ask a question and get an answer.
