Chapter 4: People Who Live the Intuitive Life
The research for this book included over 75 people from all walks of life. From those people, I selected several whom I judged to live their lives by primarily following their internal guide.
Each interview was designed to last one hour. Notes were taken during the interviews and each was recorded. Soundbites are provided throughout Your Leader Within (digital course) so the reader can get the tone and feeling behind the words.
Here is a brief summary of three of the nine people profiled in the course and profiled verbally here:
Spar Street is a world class artist who credits his life’s direction and success to, as he puts it, “the voice that knows the way.” He and his wife Johanna have some interesting stories to tell about their relationship and how intuition guides their lives.
Arjun Gupta is a successful venture capitalist who credits much of his success to his intuitive decisions which often fly in the face of his team’s factual analysis.
Lt. General James King, retired was an inspirational military leader as well as a successful businessman after leaving the military. He credits his intuitive ability with making very difficult decisions where hundreds of lives were at stake.
General Conclusions
The nine people profiled, or about 12% of the people interviewed, appear to live life by constantly asking for and listening for inner direction.
This was surprisingly high to me. That high percentage of people who live the intuitive life does indicate that the idea of being aware of and following your intuitive guide is achievable if you have the desire and commitment to integrate your intuition.
Another conclusion is that, the people who live an intuitive life appear to be quite successful defined as happy, healthy, wealthy.
