Chapter 5: Your Next Best Step
This book in the series is mostly about persuading you to explore Your Leader Within to determine its value to you personally.
After reading this far, you might ask the following question:
“Should I take action to connect with you (Your Leader Within)?”
If the answer is “yes,” finish this chapter and do what it suggests.
If the answer is “no,” skip it. You may want to read Book II in the series, but frankly I wouldn’t waste my time going forward.
If the answer is “I don’t know” or no answer, continue to explore until you do get an answer.
I’ve given a lot of thought to my journey and my exploration. What part of my discovery would I not give up?
If I knew what I know now, where would I start?
The answer to both those questions is the same:
I would not give up my relationship with Orion and if I knew what I know now years ago, I would have started by developing a relationship with Orion.
Develop a relationship with your intuition
By relationship, I mean thinking about your intuition as a close friend. A friend that will not tell you what you want to hear, but rather what you need to hear.
Think about friends whom you truly enjoy being with. There is mutual love and respect. Conversations are honest and open. You don’t ask your friend a question when you don’t want to hear the answer.
In my case, I have a friend Dennis, who always gives me his truth – a truth we often fought about. I thought about how that particular relationship developed over time. I also thought about the many times we get into intense disagreement. Through all that, we never stopped caring or respecting each other.
