Amaroq
He named the cooperative Amaroq, which is a name for an Alaskan wolf. When you think about a cooperative among smaller, more vulnerable competitors in a market dominated by large retailers (Home Depot, Lowes) who buy tons of product, joining a wolf pack is the way to not only exist, but to thrive. David has a great ability to come up with names that really tell the story of the organization in a word.
I want to make sure that I’m clear here. Intuition is very rarely, if ever, the whole story. It must be combined with intellectual curiosity and rigor before the intuitive hit becomes a viable direction or business success. David provides a great description
