Situation:
Karen had a major computer problem this morning. I had to leave my office and go to hers to straighten it out. It was a drag, not only because of the time used and lost focus on my projects for the day, but I wasn’t able to solve the problem.
I don’t want to be interrupted when I am on a track and getting a lot of work done and I don’t want to feel powerless to resolve critical problems.
Its Opposite:
I want to empower Karen to resolve her own computer problems. I want to get her a number she can call to talk with experts in the field who will patiently take her through the steps to resolving the problem.
