Our Four Core Pillars: Reducing Food
Insecurity through the provision of
fresh healthy food to the most
vulnerable populations in need.
EDUCATION PILLAR: With the pandemic
the education of individuals this year has
been difficult at best.
When we break ground on the garden at
the Our Place campus this year, we will
teach the clients how to plant, grow and
harvest everything from the garden site.
This food will support the clients’ as well as
others in need in the community
We are currently working with our partners
to plan what the cooking education
program will look like in the coming year.
Pillar 3 We are fortunate to have Great Basin Food
Co-Op and well-known local chefs who
will assist us in this effort.
In addition, we will be working with ”Our
Place” to establish a Covid-19 regulated
plan for working in the neighborhood
garden.
