So much for the value, but “What about the
cost?” you ask. After all, other web conferencing
solutions may advertise a low price per user but
require every user to have a separate account,
so the price per seat may look great but the
total not so good. The folks at 3CX have a nice
surprise for you. All 3CX customers will be
automatically licensed to use 3CX WebMeeting
for a low six month or yearly cost.
All of this is great news for 3CX users!
Now for the bad news. This functionality
is currently in Alpha 2 (aka beta). All 3CX
partners and existing Version 12 3CX Users
can now signup for a free 3CX Webmeeting
account. Users can schedule meetings for up
to 10 users using 3CXPhone for Windows,
only. Do not despair, however! 3CX promises
to add the ability to schedule meetings from
other 3CX clients in the next update. Telecom Reseller will provide a lot more detail when 3CX
WebMeeting goes to general release.
