If you can’t attend the convention, you can still help with the service project.
WRJ Pacific District has a long-standing tradition of giving
back to our local communities and offering members an
opportunity to participate in a mitzvah project connected to
our conventions. This year, we are knitting and/or
crocheting hats for women in need. The hats will be donated
to two very worthy organizations in our Convention host city
of San Diego: (1) Rachel's Women's Center, which provides
support and housing for homeless women in a safe
environment where they can get help and a hot meal; and
(2) Susan G. Komen, whose mission is to save lives and end
breast cancer by empowering people, ensuring quality care
for all and energizing science to find the cures.

Hats off to Rabbi Dunsker! She gives the gift of one year of KAWRJ membership to all new members. Any woman who joined CKA last year was a member and any woman who begins a CKA membership in 5779 will be a
member of KAWRJ. Year round, KAWRJ offers programs and opportunities for women to get together through social events and other projects that benefit CKA as well as supporting Reform Judaism locally and globally in numerous ways. Annual membership is $40 per year. Won’t you join the many CKA women who are part of this dynamic sisterhood?
