INTERHOUSE SWIMMING

COMPETITION

Gyananda School for Girls organised an intra-class and inter-house swimming competition for grades I to III on August
26, 2022, and for grades IV to XII from August 12 to 29, 2022. The students were determined to push their limits while
striving to beat their personal best timings and win accolades for their class or house. It was a great platform for
students to set goals, learn resilience, develop sound physical and mental health, and hone team-building skills. The
competition had varied distance events like breaststroke, butterfly, backstroke, and individual freestyle. In addition to
these individual events, four swimmers participated in either a freestyle or medley relay.

Grade I (25 m freestyle stroke)

Gold medal- Parnika Patil
Silver medal- Anvi Gulati
Bronze medal- Anaya Handa
Most Promising Swimmer- Mitra Thapliyal.

Grade II (25 m freestyle stroke)

Gold medal-Priyanshi Upadhyay
Silver medal-Parineeti Kaur Batra
Bronze Medal-Kunjal Mewar

Grade III (25 m freestyle stroke)
Gold medal- Alabhya Sirwal
Silver medal- Avyana Goyal
Bronze medal- Samaira Thakur

Third position- Kapana Chawala House

Overall Winning Trophy- Mary Kom House
