Grade Senior K.G I CAN EAT A
RAINBOW...
In order to inculcate the importance of healthy eating a food activity named ‘I can
eat a rainbow’ as a part of the project "My Food", was organised for the students of
Sr. KG on Friday, 18th November 2022.
Students were asked to bring some home-cooked healthy food in their tiffin and to
speak about nutritional facts. Parents acted as an integral part of this activity as
they had to help their children with the presentation. We were pleasantly surprised
at the creativity and presentation skills showcased in kids’ tiffin boxes,
simultaneously ensuring the nutritional value. The idea behind this activity was to
acquaint the children with a healthy diet and to encourage them to have healthy
food. We were able to convey this message to the parents also, that by making food
more appealing. We can inculcate better eating habits.
