INDEPENDENCE DAY
To commemorate "Azaadi ka Jashn Mahotsav" meaning the grand celebration of
independence, the fifth-grade children held an assembly on 10th August, 2022. Ojasvi
Gupta, Aadhya Anand, and Aradhaya Deoli offered a "Pushpanjali" on this occasion,
which is a hand gesture loaded with flowers. Shanvi Doval gave a lovely speech in which
she expressed her thoughts on this extremely fortunate Mahotsav. The fifth-grade girls
put on a play called "Simon Go Back" to show us how our heroes had to overcome
obstacles before they could achieve the independence we have today. This was
intended to demonstrate one of the many incidents from the several independence
struggles that our freedom fighters encountered and bravely overcame.
The hoisting of the flag
and celebrations for
Independence Day
took place on 15th
August, 2022.
The national song was
proudly sung by students,
parents, and faculty members
assembled at the school's
tennis court.
Students and teachers danced merrily, some
of the music teachers sang the national song,
and everyone was handed delectable laddoos
to cap the event on a sweet note.
