If the person is breathing but is not responding, roll him to his side and wait for
someone with more advanced training to arrive and take over. Placing someone
in the side position helps keep the airway clear in the event the person vomits.
If the person stops breathing or is only gasping, you will need to roll him onto
his back and assess the need for CPR.

Put It All Together
Definitions and When doing CPR, you give sets of 30 compressions and 2 breaths. Push
