If you have items, followers, special skills,
or weapons that add more magic to your
total then you add those up first before
you roll a 1d6 die to create a total count.
Sir Dean Spencer doesn’t have anything so
he has to work with 2. He rolls a 5, which
makes a total of 7.
The Banshee, rolls a 1 making a total of 6.
A very unlucky roll for the Banshee!
Sir Dean Spencer wins the battle. He then
adds up the 5 points to the character
sheet. We learned that 9 points earns a
skill, 6 points earn an attribute, and 3
points earns a gold coin. With 5 points you
can only earn a gold coin. You can either
deduct the points for the coin or save
them. Turn to page 33 to continue.
