Set Operations: Complement
The complement of a set A, denoted by A^c, is the set of all elements that are not in A, relative to the
universal set U. It represents everything in the universal set that is not in A.
For example, if U = {1, 2, 3, 4, 5} and A = {1, 2}, then A^c = {3, 4, 5}. The complement operation helps in
understanding what is excluded from a set within a given context.
