Celebrating Seuss
Across the district, schools celebrated the birthday of iconic author Dr. Seuss and Read Across America Day in fun and special ways. Click here for photos.
University Park Elementary
University Park’s Student Ambassadors are model
students who strive to not only help and care for
UP’s school environment, but also the surrounding
community. This year, the ambassadors wanted to do
more for local-area seniors. On February 26, they visited
the Discovery Village Senior Living Facility to bring Valentine greetings and perform a poetry reading for residents. As many of the residents’ grand- and great grandchildren live long distance, visits like these provide them an opportunity to connect with young people.
