Tropical Elementary
To boldly go where no 6th grader
has ever gone before... Five Tropical Elementary 6th grade students competed in the Brevard Intracoastal Science Fair, previously opened only to 7-12 graders. They are the only elementary school students in Brevard County to ever compete at this level. All their hard work paid off with
all five students receiving awards. Congratulations to future scientists Canon Fleming, Makayla Lynch,

Training And Resources for Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Entering Transition
Learn about legal rights of Relative Caregivers, parenting skills, financial assistance, counseling services, support services and much more, from community experts. The course will span one class a week for a six week period with resources that will assist Relative Caregivers in their endeavor to provide a stable and happy environment for children who have been placed in their care.

Atlantis Elementary
This is the 7th year that Atlantis Elementary has had
a Puppet Club. Students in 5th and 6th grade have an opportunity to sign up to participate August–December
or January–May. They meet weekly on club day to learn puppetry skills, practice songs, rehearse scripts, make props and perform shows. In addition to creating their own sock puppets, a couple of students have even written short stories to present. The school’s character pillars are demonstrated during practices and performances and students have a chance to learn new skills, work cooperatively and interact with younger students.
