Tina Descovich
She believes her background in business and communications will help her in decision making on topics like physical planning and budgetary issues. She’d also like to see a reduction in testing by working with the legislature and state Department of Education.
Indialantic resident, Tina Descovich, 42, represents District 3 which covers beachside and parts of Melbourne. She and husband Derrick have a hers, his, and ours family of five children. Currently, the

Please join me in welcoming two new members of our School Board. Both recently stopped in to the BPS-TV studio to give us a little insight. Here’s what we learned:
Descovich became more involved in her children’s education years ago and realized that when she started taking action for change, she made progress. “I realized I could influence change and jumped on board (to run for School Board) when Amy Kneessy announced she wasn’t going to run again.”
Descovich wants teachers and students to find the joy in teaching and learning again. She believes that BPS can be the number one school district
in the state. “It’s important to me to be available to the community,” Descovich said. “I grew up here and I have deep connections. I plan to use that to
