    Florida’s Festivities
New holiday happenings will completely change the feel of Florida theme parks.
                            Magic Kingdom
Despite Thanksgiving Break starting soon, the Very Merry Christmas Party has already come yuletide caroling into the Magic Kingdom. Filled with cocoa and cookies around every corner, this is a one of a kind Christmas spectacular filled with plenty of guests’ favorite characters and along with a completely new holiday feel.
“The atmosphere is a totally different mood and is more festive,” Holly Fawcett, Disney Attraction Hostess, said, “it has always brought favorable memories through generations.”
Generations of families have attended the Very Merry Christmas Party and there is always something new in store for those returning. From the food to the attractions, there is no better way to get into the holiday spirit than with Mickey Mouse and all of his pals.
For returning guests, Mickey Mouse and his friends have a magical new addition this season. Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show will be sure to get everyone in jolly mood with many holiday songs being incorporated into this show that can be seen from places all over the park.
“The holiday music will evoke heartfelt moments of home and family,” Thomas Smith, Editorial Content Director, said. “as well as the festive fun of the season before an incredible finale you won’t want to miss.”
Epcot
Eleven countries are each being brought together for Epcot’s remarkable fireworks display. A great closing to a day at one of the most unique parks on Disney property, Epcot Forever is a new installation to the Epcot World Showcase to replace the long- running IllumiNations fireworks show. Filled with plenty of fireworks and the newest techniques in imagineering, this is sure to be at the top of any Disney lover’s to-do list this holiday season.
This holiday season attendees won’t want to miss Epcot’s International Festival of the Holidays. Presenting the holiday traditions combined with various cultures around the world, Epcot brings

something for everyone. Using the narrators of the Candlelight Processional and storytellers in each of the countries, guests are immersed in what makes the holidays magical for everyone across the world.
“To go listen to the stories is a neat way to learn about a country,“ Debbie Woodside, Epcot Park Events Operations Convention Guide, said.
For those young and old, there is always something more to learn about and a new experience to have with each visit.
Hollywood Studios
A short time ago in a galaxy not so far away, Galaxy’s Edge landed at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Stepping on to the foreign planet of Battu, Disney does a remarkable job transporting individuals and families alike to these far away lands straight out of the movies. Having debuted in late August, this new section of the park has been home to the famous Blue Milk and a one of a kind experience on Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run.
“It makes you feel like you’re in a whole new world,” Sydney Kreiger, 11, said.
This is a completely new immersive experience for guests that makes a trip to Black Spire Outpost feel as though guests are stepping straight out of the Millennium Falcon or a Star Destroyer.
Travelers have a chance to build their own one of a kind lightsaber in Savi’s Workshop or develop their own R2 Unit out of parts. For those guests looking to have their own original Star Wars stories, treasures from across the galaxy can be purchased at Dok- Ondar’s Den of Antiquities. For those more interested in the food than the rides, Docking Bay 7 and Ronto Roasters will fully immerse guests in the unique tastes and smells of Battu.
The Force will guide guests through their journey of this new planet. From the droids to the creatures, Galaxy’s Edge is teeming with adventures of galactic proportions.
