hours of time wasted. Cyberbullying, fake news, and phone addiction have all been enabled and encouraged by the proliferation of social media.
Technology is a huge component of modern society, to the point where we are almost dependent on it.
“Of course technology has changed the generations! While electronics are still new, technology is something which has been in effect for a long while now, with the advancement of electricity and other day-to-day products,” Carr said, undoubtedly assuring technology’s spread across the planet.
On both sides of the spectrum, you get to choose what you do with your life and how you spend your time, online or not. These two students differ from the rest by their lack of social media. While social media technology brings a new level of convenience to our lives, the detractors of these apps are definitely something to
be considered. Giving up social media completely isn’t always the answer, but it’s a good idea once in a while to follow these two students’ examples and take a break from addictive social apps.
