Welcome everyone to the Spring Term and Happy New Year!
I’m so excited about 2019! This past semester, we kicked off our #ThriveNotSurvive showcase
with national speakers Dr. Danny Brassell and WWE legend Chris Holyfield. They spoke of the impor- tance of reading and empathy in the workplace. #ThriveNotSurive
is the notion that “soft” skills are not enough to take charge of your career. “Thriving”
skill will help you become in charge of your career. We have many more dynamic speakers coming to Brevard Adult Education in the upcoming months.
Our goal is not only help you get the credentials need- ed for employment, but to assist you finding the right fit for you. This year we have started several cohort GED classes. We are now offering online adult high school classes. Also, we have hired two success coach-

This 140 hour program will connect you with other apprenticeship programs in Brevard County that lead to high paying jobs. I am always looking for new ideas! If you have one, please come by and see me or drop me an email arnott.jeffery@bre- vardschools.org. I love feedback about our programs. And make sure to follow our social media pages for continuous updates on registration, graduations and upcoming events.
Academically yours,
