Going or Going
Online
Many people love to shop. Which type of shopping is your style?
Do you have all the time in the world? If not, online shopping is probably more convenient. When you go to a store and shop for things, it might take you longer to find the item you are looking for. If you look the item up online, you
have a better chance of finding it. It will save you a lot of your time. Physical stores, sometimes referred to as brick- and-mortar stores, can be five minutes away or several hours away, depending on where you are. Online shopping can save time because you can just walk to your computer and search for the website of
the store you’re interested in.
Another concept people may find more
convenient for online shopping is the amount of money you can save. By finding online coupons and deals, you can maximize your savings. When you shop online, there is a larger variety of things you can shop/look for. Whether it goes from gifts to clothing it’s there! You may not find the things you want in a store but when you shop online, it has everything you can think of. It is as easy as clicking and typing...
because it is! You get to save time as you shop!
“I prefer online shopping because there are more options to choose from if I cannot find the size I want,” said Danielle
Tolland, 8.
Even though online shopping is very convenient, real-
life shopping has its perks, too. In fact, some people view shopping as a hobby or activity and appreciate the fun of shopping physically.
Though most people prefer to shop online (around 58% of Americans according to Washington D.C.’s “The Hill”), there are still some people who prefer to shop in stores. It gives

people something to do, and you can socialize while you are out shopping.
“I can also try it on and make sure it fits me,” said AJ Tanz, 8.
There are many things that are more convenient when shopping in a store, such as being able to try on clothing or seeing the quality of
the products you’re buying. You can also see a design on an item of clothing in real life better than you’d
be able to see online. Another thing that comes in handy when you shop in-store is that you can
get your item right then
and there and don’t have
to wait for shipping, or worry about it getting lost.
“I can buy it and put it on right there, and it’s all boujee,” said Tanz.
When you go shopping in a store, workers are there to help you with anything you may need. If you want a second opinion, you can always turn to these staff members. When you online shop, on the other hand, you have only your own judgment.
While online shopping offers almost limitless convenience, in-store shopping is a good way to socialize and have something to do, and who knows, you may have a lot of fun as well! At the end of the day, both of these methods of shopping will get you what you need.
