A student residing in Brevard County who wishes to attend a school in another county must complete a “Student Transfer between District Request Form” to leave our district, have the form approved by the Division of Equity, Innovation and Choice and then apply to the receiving district for acceptance. The form is available at: www.EIC.brevardschools.org
Student Residing Outside of Brevard
A student who resides outside of Brevard County may request to attend Brevard County Schools. The student must provide the following: 1. A completed and approved "release form" from the county they wish to leave
2. A Brevard Public Schools' online ELO or EPO application (deadlines and application fee apply)
Transitioning Active Duty Military
If you are a Transitioning Active Duty Military family who move to Brevard during the designated timelines you may complete an ELO or EPO
application within the designated timeline. Verification of military status is NOT required.
If you are a Transitioning Active Duty Military family who move to Brevard after the deadline you must complete a “Transitioning Active Duty Military Form,” in addition to the online ELO or EPO application. Parents must obtain signature verification from the Patrick Air Force Base School Liaison Officer (SLO). In order for your online application to be processed, this form must be included. The application will remain in pending status until this form is received.
