Intro to Facilitated Networking Session
Ballroom - We’ll kick off the first full day of the conference by doing what LHAT does best: sharing best practices from
MORNING around the nation. We learned during the pandemic that LHAT Happy Hours were a way to stay connected and hear
what others were doing to remain relevant in their communities. We tried a live version of this “informal” networking in
Cleveland last year and received rave reviews, so this year, we’re building in even more time for this type of networking.
After a quick introduction, we’ll divide into four smaller groups based on theatre demographics,
so you can take a deep dive into any topic desired. Share things you have learned since the
Cleveland conference or ask questions about topics that are most important to your theatre’s
future success. Think of it as an in-person LHAT-CHAT Network!

Networking Breakouts
We will divide into four rooms with LHAT Board Members to facilitate each group for a lively, anything goes conversation.

11:30 am - 1:30 pm
Lunch On Your Own and Optional Midland Theatre Tour (on your own, self-guided)
The Midland Theatre has offered to open its doors for self-guided tours during Monday’s lunch break. Grab a ride share
from the hotel or walk 3 blocks to catch KC’s free streetcar to the theatre. You may tour any time between 11:30 am and
1:30 pm. Spend the rest of your lunch break networking and checking in with your office while getting a bite to eat. Be sure

to get back to the hotel by 1:45pm. You’ve still got a full day ahead!
