‘Satguru Nanak Pargatya…miti dund jag chanan hoa….jo kar suraj nikalya..taare chappe andher paloa..

Guru Nanak was born in a time when the human race was steeped in superstitions, ignorance and blind faith. He came
like a ray of hope ushering in a new era of knowledge, wisdom and love for mankind. His teachings are universal in
nature cutting across barriers of race, color, caste and creed. They are as relevant today as they were 500 years ago.
           For the next hour and a half, time is going to come to a standstill, when our students from the pre-primary to Class 9;
through theatre, music and dance; will connect us to the time honoured teachings of Guru Nanak.

           I am hop
I am hopeful that this connect with Guru Nanak Dev ji’s teachings will not be a one day affair rather it will and it should
go on to mould our children into wonderful human beings of strong character.

I If I were to ask you all, ‘What defines the progress of a nation?’ our answers would invariably revolve around a high
GDP, Industrial growth and infrastructure. But the real indicator of a country’s progress lies in its human resource that
needs to be both skilled and of a sound character. As we step into the fourth industrial revolution, everything is
changing at a breakneck speed. Products are obsolete almost the day after being launched and knowledge is getting
obsolete in 2-3 years. So if change is the only constant, it’s certainly imperative to prepare our human resource, our
children to brace this change with the right set of skills and attitude.

           The Mil
The Millennium School Amritsar, empowered by a path breaking curriculum, The Millennium Learning System is a
school that is shaping a whole new generation of children who will be ready to lead the rapidly changing world of
tomorrow. Our learning system is the result of an intensive research of 10 years by 400 researchers, designed to
unravel each child’s capacity and talent, making it one of the most progressive systems in the country. It is heartening
to note that the Millennium Learning system is shaping over 45000 students across the country to lead the emerging
world of tomorrow. Inspired by the ancient Indian Philosophy of learning and the best international practices in
           edu
education, Millennium is a school where teaching may stop when the bell rings but learning doesn’t! Even though
Millennium Schools have been ranked the best in the country on various parameters, for me there is only one
parameter of success, and that is, our happy parents!

The training to achieve this success begins right from the time our students take their first step into our pre primary
classroom. The Millennium Learning system adapts itself wonderfully to meet the needs of emerging learners through
our scientifically developed Seven Petal pre- school curriculum that ensures complete development through play

activities and collaborative group work. Our curriculum encourages children to dance, sing, draw, paint, create and tell
           stories, play sports and games
