Trips

Excursions
Nothing beats exciting hands on experience to deepen learning. The magic of field trip isn’t just
the subject, It’s a break in routine and an adventure that opens up children’s mind to new things.
Students are energized by the excitement and anticipation of leaving the school environment.
F Field trips are not only good fun, they allow students to absorb, interact and immerse
themselves in a practical way. Their experiences create synaptic connections which build
cognitive, social and emotional structures that will serve as the foundation for their progress in
life. Since most of these experiences are derived from their surroundings, it is crucial to provide
quality interactions that nurture and refine this process.
T To put this into practice, the school frequently organizes field trips and excursions for all
classes. Our popular field trip sites include: visit to a local supermarket, amusement park, a
library, a museum, a theater, a community garden, a restaurant and many more. Each
experience that a student gathers, contributes to his understanding of the world. Such trips
provide experiences outside the proverbial ‘boxes’ of numeracy plus literacy and solidifies
learning to support important academic concepts.

When students leave the classroom, they see the connections between what is happening at
school and in the ‘real-world’. They begin to see that what they learn within the walls of the
classroom can help them solve the problems they see in the world around them and can have a
direct impact on who they become as people.
Educational field trips are some of the most of memorable and enriching educational events
that students will experience in their school careers. This multisensory learning experience
brings one dimensional lessons to life and create enthusiasm that is hard to replicate otherwise.

As teachers, a field trip is one of the best tools that we can use to provide every student with
real-world experiences. Field trips will help reinforce classroom materials, bringing lessons of
classrooms to life.
