The students were taken for an Open House
Session cum interaction with Dr. Pankaj Goel,
Director of Cardiac Surgery, Ivy Hospital,
Amritsar; accompanied by Ms. Prerana Saini.
I It was a great opportunity for the students to
have a deeper understanding of the medical
profession. They were explained by the Doctors
about the various branches and aspects of
Cardiac, Thoracic and Vascular surgery. Students
also got an opportunity to visit operation theatre
and ICU, observe the Heart Lung machine and all
other apparatus which is used in a cardiac
othe
surgery. Moreover, they met the entire support
team that assists a cardiologist during a surgery.
