Dear Diary,
Youwon’t believe how strange was my day today. The whole day was full of un-

lucky events occurring one after another. Today being a weekday I had to wake
up early for the school but my alarm clock didn’t ring and I got up late. I
jumped up from my bed in hurry, little did I know that it was just the start
there awaited a few more shocks ahead. You won’t believe that in hurry to
reach the school on time I applied my dad’s shaving foam instead of my face
wash during my shower. I got a rash on my skin but I was already late so I did

not waste time and got ready in order to catch my bus. I was lucky to not miss
my bus and reach school on time. While in bus I prayed to god to end the un-
lucky events occurring since morning and requested for the rest of the day to
go well. I was very scared and quiet throughout the first half of the school
fearing another unlucky encounter I was little relieved that nothing had
happened during the first half: and then it was recess I was excited to eat my
tiffin as my mother had packed my favourite cupcakes, I opened my bag to treat
my friends and myself with them. I realised I had forgotten it at home on the
dining table. This made me extremely sad as I was hungry and tempted to eat
the cupcakes. Dejected, I decided to go to the canteen to feed my belly. I went
there and ordered a sandwich. Taking my sandwich I was walking towards the
bench at the corner. I did not notice a banana peel lying there on the ground,
waiting to play its trick. Unknowingly I stepped on it and tripped dropping
my sandwich on my uniform. I became a laughing stock of all the students
present there. It was very embarrassing for me and it made me cry.
present there. It was very embarrassing for me and it made me cry.
Somehow managing myself, I stood up and ran to the washroom to clean myself
up. I sat in there waiting for the school to get over. I went back home in bad
mood and comforted myself in my room, avoided going out of my room because I
did not want to experience any more bad incident. I did my homework and had
dinner in my room itself. Finally the night came and it was time for me to hit
the bed. I took a sigh of relief that the day was over and so was the series of
bad events. I thanked god for ending the day and prayed for wonderful days
ahead.
