Construction Bids


               This month the Board will be asked to approve two bid projects. The field house and the consolidation bids.
               Both projects will have multiple bid packages, which are created in tandem with the architects as the drawing
               are finalized with the district teams. The Board will be asked to approve the fieldhouse bid package 1 and
               consolidation bid package 1. Other bid packages will be issued and presented for approval next month.



               Moody’s Investment Service Rating Changes
               Moody’s Investment Service is implementing a new methodology for US K-12 public school districts
               which was published on January 26, 2021. Based in the methodology, the Issuer Rating and related
               outlook being assigned to Cook County H.S.D. 227 (Rich Township), IL is listed in the table below.
               There are four possible outlook scenarios: STA (stable), NEG (negative), POS (positive) or NOO (no
               outlook). "No outlook" is typically used for issuers with less than $250 million of rated debt.

               Moody’s plans to initiate publication of this press release shortly after 2pm New York time on
               Thursday February 11, 2021.


               Construction Site Logistics – FAC Campus

               Please be advised that the first phase of construction will begin in mid- February, weather permitting. This
               phase will include demolition, which will begin February 15, 2021.  As a result, the track will not be available
               to the public beginning February 15, 2021 through approximately November 26, 2021. In addition, the
               construction crew will begin using about 24 spaces of the staff lot starting February 15, 2021. These spaces will
               not be available for staff use until late fall 2021. This is the row of parking spaces closest to the pond and
               circled in red in the picture below. Additional parking restrictions will begin on March 1, 2021; however,
               information will be provided later.
