               Information Technology

The Information Technology Department continues to support the parents and students daily with technology
issues with devices or any other technology-related matters.

With some of our students back to in-person instruction, we could begin using the Scholarchip system at both
campuses. Students start their day by scanning into the KIOSK at the main entrance and their classrooms for
attendance. Other areas of scanning include the Media Center, lunchroom, and specific office areas. The
technology department will continue to work with the campus administration to refine and improve the
               processes.
With the boards' recent approval of the request for proposal for the transition center, we have begun installing
security cameras, access control, internet, and wireless access. The project is ongoing.

The technology department has completed issuing staff their new ID cards. The new ID’s have embedded radio
frequency technology (RFID) that will be used to control door access and time and attendance scanning.
