5.12 Hidden Curricular Activities

The hidden curriculum is all the things that student pick up throughout their
academic life at schools that are not explicitly taught as part of the formal

curriculum. The hidden curriculum activities which we found during our profile
period are as follows.

• Every student worships the school before they enter the school premises.

• Every morning some education-related Sinhala songs are played.
