1.2 Aim and Objective

The school profile programme aims to familiarize the teacher trainees with the

school system, its environment, and student behavior.

By gathering information regarding school identity, history, and background,
teacher trainees receive an insight into how the school system works and its
various relationships with society. Also, teacher trainees learn about the role of

a teacher in the process of running a school.

Also, by engaging in various small and fun activities with the primary students,
and conducting classroom observations, the teacher trainees can obtain a great
deal of knowledge regarding student behavior and mentality as well as the factor

that affects the learning-teaching process in a classroom.

As prospective teachers, by engaging in a school profile program, teacher
trainees receive the basic training to integrate themselves into the school
environment and to engage students effectively and confidently, leading the way

for the successful evolvement of effective, valuable teachers.
