TRANSMITTER SECTION
(1) CODER/CONVERTER:
-It is a ADC (analog to digital converter).
-At the input , the Coder converts analog signal into
digital signals.
(2) LIGHT SOURCE
-Generally a FOCUS type LED (Light Emitting Diode) or
low intensity laser beam source.
-In some cases an infrared beam of light
3) Fiber–optic cable
-Fiber optic cable passes the light pulses that are fed
to one end of fiber-optic cable on to the other end.
-The cable has VERY LESS attenuation over a long
distance
