      Information Systems


         Introduction
      The  development  direction  of  the  Department  is  based  on  the  country's  economic  development  needs,  industrial  needs  and  the
      development goals of schools and colleges. This Department aims to cultivate students with accounting professional knowledge and
      accounting  practice  skills,  and  develop  students'  professional  and  responsible  work  attitudes,  so  that  students  can  become  highly
      competitive with a full range of talents.
      In order to respond to new industry trends such as big data and the development of artificial intelligence, accounting expertise must be
      combined with information technology applications (including data science, artificial intelligence, data analysis and other data science
      and related application tools) to maximize the potential practical value of accounting profession. The Department combines accounting
      expertise with information technology applications, integrates knowledge in accounting-related fields, and uses data science tools to
      develop the accounting professionals needed for the wide application of modern information technology.
      In order to cultivate professionals who can combine accounting and information technology to solve the dilemma of the accounting
      industry lacking such management talents in the transformation process, the Department will strengthen the ability of training students
      to integrate and apply the information technology in accounting practice. In addition to the existing accounting professional courses, the
      Department also plans many professional courses related to accounting information for students, such as: Programming, Business Suite
      Software, Data Analysis and Statistics, Database Management, Big Data in Business Analysis and Decision-Making, Activity Value
      Management , Accounting Information Systems, Enterprise Resource Planning, Computerized Auditing, and other IT application and
      development courses.
         The Aims of Education
      ¬Cultivate the Accounting Professionals needed in the Information Technology Era.
      ¬Integrate Teacher Expertise to Bridge the Gap Between Education System and Practical World.
      ¬In order to achieve the education objectives:
        (1)The  Department  combines  accounting  and  information  technology-related  courses  with  practice,  and  employs  industry
          professionals  to  open  practical  courses  and  provide  practical  seminars  to  establish  a  reciprocal  mechanism  for  teacher-student
          exchanges.
        (2)We combine curriculum design and practice, and introduces industry professionals as teachers for Collaborative teaching. The
          Department invites accounting practitioners and senior managers in the industry to conduct practical lectures or practical courses,
          and arranges students to go to the company for summer internships and semester internships, with a view to bridge the gap
          between the education system and the practical world and help students make a smooth transition into the workplace.
        (3)We organize lectures on special topics concerning the practical world from time to time, and invite experts from the industry and
          academia to give special lectures.
         Department Features
       Put emphasis on the importance of obtaining professional licenses related to accounting and information technology.
       In order to meet the practical needs of the accounting profession in the workplace, the Department places special emphasis on the
       importance of obtaining accounting-related professional licenses. We hope that through the "certification system" that comprehensively
       test a student’s abilities in theory, practice and expertise, students will be guided to pursue specific learning objectives to strengthen
       competitiveness  in  the  future  workplace.  For  example,  in  terms  of  the  accounting  professional  ability  certification,  we  encourage
       students to take exams to become a bookkeeper, a senior accounting professional and/or a Certified Public Accountant, and we will
       reward the students with excellent performance in the exams to shape a good atmosphere for studying to pass the certification exams
       and improve their competitiveness in the future workplace. In addition to the professional compulsory courses related to accounting
       and  information  technology,  we  also  encourage  students  to  obtain  international  certificates/licenses,  such  as  Microsoft  Professional
       Program in Data Science Certificate (MPP Data Science), to become a Data Analyst for Excel.

         Career Directions
       1.Further  education:  Study  for  master's  degrees  in  accounting,  information,  management  or  other  related  fields  in  universities  and
         research institutes.
       2.Become a Public Servant: Engage in government service through official examinations of Public Servants.
       3.Serve in enterprises: Serve in accounting, information, finance, or management department in local or global enterprises.
       4.Banking, insurance or securities industry: Become a manager, banker, financial analyst, or sales personnel in banking, insurance or
         securities industry.
       5.Professional and technical personnel examination: Obtain Certified Public Accountant license or bookkeeper qualification license, and
         engage in audit films or other accounting-related workplace.
