W ildscreen 2002, the world’s largest and most
prestigious festival of moving images from the natural world, is back in
Bristol from October 13-18.
This year, there are almost 400 entries, including nine large format
(IMAX), from more than 30 countries and they are more diverse than ever.
Reflecting developments in wildlife film production, two new awards
have been introduced at the biannual festival: Panda In the Pocket, for an outstanding production which doesn’t fall into any category, and Best Presenter-Led Show.
