And just for the record, if you had invested £10,000 in a business I would hope you would presume your investment would a) get eventually returned and b) you'd make some money.
Your argument is totally misguided, as if we were not management, you'd have another costing the same, or less, or more and believe me, it woulds be FAR more once they start loading everything and doing the slightest stupid little works, tests, surveys, health & safety, analysis of this and that week in week out - that's why your landlord is charging you a £1000 a week...... because its probably costing him £150 a week in service charges.....plus £150 per week to reserves plus god knows what for keeping the cockroaches from the kitchens below on a daily basis - you've still got a lot to learn about agents and fees.

I did not ask or voted in favor of reducing the service charge, you did it unilaterally, so the ball is in your camp of lack of prudent management.

You have not responded to my question. Why do we need £32,000 more? What contingencies are you planning for? Is a ridiculous amount of money
READ (a) and (b) for almost EXACT CORRECT FIGURES - or read the attached to Michele which has other relevant information for you to compute....
If Management returns the management fee and does not take more money out of us as per my suggestion, by just bringing back the service charge to where it was before for 3-4 quarters you get all you need for your contingencies.
IF YOU CONTRIBUTE YOUR RENTAL FROM FLAT 9, WE'LL CONTRIBUTE OUR FEES - are you mad?
You are clearly not acting in a disinterested way as otherwise could have proposed more sensible alternatives to the lessees, not only the one that you personally like.
I ADVISE WHAT THE MOST CAN AFFORD WITHOUT PAYING ADDITIONAL AMOUNTS - simple as that....
