Housing Catalyst
2018 was marked with many successes that were integral to our
mission. We helped 8,355 Coloradans become homeowners. We Irving Halter
helped at least 5,136 Coloradans remain in or have future access Executive Director
to an affordable apartment. Additionally, we helped support 4,287 Colorado Department
jobs at 749 Colorado businesses. of Local Affairs
It is these homeowners, renters, business owners, and workers
that we focus on every day, every year. In 2018, while the needs of Amber Hills
those we serve continued to grow, CHFA, our Board of Directors, President
and partners collaborated to identify new ways to meet housing FirstBank, Lakewood
and community development needs in Colorado. We started to
explore how to reach more deeply into communities to assess Senator Chris Holbert
unique challenges and inform CHFA’s resource allocations. The Colorado Senate
momentum of our strategies will continue into 2019 and beyond, Majority Leader
in hopes that meeting our mission on a new level will result in
lasting outcomes for Colorado communities.
