In 2018, more than 13,000 Colorado households enrolled in a $2.1B
CHFA-sponsored homebuyer education class. This essential step in
the process of buying a home has been in demand, as enrollment
has increased 22 percent in the last three years. invested in first

CHFA’s 30-year, fixed-rate loan and down payment assistance
programs helped 8,355 households achieve their dreams of
homeownership last year. Our network of 117 CHFA Participating
Lenders deployed our homeownership programs to homebuyers all 8,355
throughout Colorado.

To help more homebuyers have opportunities for housing stability
with CHFA’s programs, CHFA established a Real Estate Advisory
Panel (REAP) in 2018. REAP is comprised of residential real estate 13,022
professionals who convene to learn about affordable housing households served

CHFA’s $500 for 5 contest was popular with CHFA homeowners $94.1M
in the summer of 2018! The contest invited current CHFA invested in down

photo, for a chance to win a $500 gift card. One winner was
selected at random in June, July, and August. A total of 297 $40.1M
entries were received.
