Thank you for your letter dated August 12, expressing appreciation for the efforts and
assistance of our Crime Stoppers staff while you have been a Board member. We are extremely
grateful for your participation for the past year. The leadership and experience you have shared have
been invaluable in providing direction for the progran's successful growhi and you will be deeply
missed.

I will share your letter with Lieutenant Marty Hatchett, Deputy Ken Edward, Gerri Hall and
Dale Klos and will place a copy in their persormel files. They are indeed dedicated professionals and I
know they will truly appreciate your taking the time to whte and also your complimentary remarks.

On behalf of all Volusia County Sheriff s Office members, I wish you and your finiily all the
best as you return to Palm Beach County. I know their Crime Stoppers chapter will welcome you back
with open arms and, although we hate to lose you, we will still be working toward a common goal. If I
