Dear Ms. Charette:
This year marked a milestone for the Crime Stoppers Program. At the beginning of the
2011 -2012 grant year, the Crime Stoppers grant staff began working on statewide
regional training plans for the 2012-2013 grant year. They were charged with locating
four sites to conduct the training around the state. The goal was to reduce the size of the
classes and provide more one-on-one training. As a state agency, we aspire to be good
stewards of state dollars and try to locate facilities with little to no fees.
The Office of the Attorney General would like to thank you for assisting us in meeting
our goals by providing the Chevron Training Center on April 18, and April 19, 20] 2, for
the Crime Stoppers Program staff to conduct their annual training. Your facility provided
an ideal setting in a secure site, Your sta±`f was very cordial and made us feel welcome.
We appreciate Jchn Shwiner, President of Crime Stoppers of Palm Beach County, Inc.,
and a former,long-time employee of the Chevron Corporation, for initializing and making
R%*
all of the arangenents.
Your services to the state and the Crime Stoppers Program are greatly appreciated,
Rick Nuss
