AGENT OBLIGATIONS: (MANAGED LEASE)
1) Advertise the property online.
2) Show the property to prospective tenants on landlords’ behalf.
3) Perform credit and reference checks on prospective tenants and
register any defaulting tenant on behalf of the landlord with a credit
bureau.
4) Assist prospective tenants on application forms.
5) Negotiate a lease agreement and extensions of the property.
6) Monitor and receive payment from tenant for rentals and deposits
as per lease.
7) Pay to the Landlord the rentals paid by the Tenant,
within 2 (two) business day (Mondays to Fridays) after
the 1st of the month.
8) Keep landlord informed of complaints arising from
or in connection with the letting or occupation of the
premises.
9) On expiry or termination of lease ensure that
deposits are dealt with in accordance with rental
housing act Receive rental deposit and deal with it in
accordance with rental housing act.
